CHS NCC AIR r.i.p?
No doubt, its crumbling, its going to fall, will we be able to stop it? Will we be able to salvage it? That was what was on my mind after Sir Teo talked to us yesterday. There were only 3 names in his mind. Which 3? i dun know. But that 3 will probably be our only hope. The week i wasn't around, total strength 29, current strength 9. This week, 22. Gar Wye, Kenneth Lim, Aw Wei Kun and Sheng Kai fell out even before everything started. Slept the afternoon away at de grandstand, while the rest of us were in the sun, teaching the sec 1s 'homat kehadapan', mastering kekenan and kekiri on the march. Bryan left halfway to attend the initiation mass, that's what i call a valid excuse. The rest of us carried on with PT, and then a run to Ai Tong Primary.
After the run, was close to dismissal alr. At first we had already planned to sing de bdae song for SM warren, however what was supposed to be a happy occasion became a sad one. Sgt Jerrell was collecting air fund. A lot of people nvr bring, with emphasis of 6 people, Gar Wye, Darren Mok, Aw Wei Kun, Kenneth Lim, Peh Sheng Kai and Bryan Seah. It seems to me only Darren Mok and Bryan Seah had a valid excuse. As a Chairman, he is subject to paying stuff for his class, so i can understand the fact that he wasn't able to fork out the $10, Bryan Seah, has the problem i use to have. Only given a fixed amount of money for a month, no reimbursements, if i were to skip recess, i have to. This is the first term of school, naturally there will be a lot of money collection involved, so i can understand why he is so tight on money. For the rest, their excuses aren't acceptable.
A long lecture ensued, lots of scolding, humiliation and punishment for the 6, especially Wei Kun and Kenneth. How did things turn out this way? After all Kenneth was 1 of the stars of PDS before? Well As SM warren said to me before, its all in the mind.
Right now those who still has the drive and goal in NCC will have to work together and make sure this CCA will not crumble in our hands because of the 4. How will things work out? I dunno, its all up to our future CSM to decide, will he unite us once again, or will he just let us crumble? Its up to him, and of course, the people behind him. For everything i gone through the past 2 years, i dun want to see this cca crumble before my eyes.
