Army Open House / Teachers' Day

Yesterday, after school, a few of us went down to the Army Open House at SAFTI. We did not get to explore much of it (sad), we just looked around at their display of stationary vehicles, look around in the tentage, played a flight sim, tried carrying a 26kg jetpack and a mortar. Ya, that's all. Then we took a bus back to school. Reached home at around 8. Dam late.

Today, is TEACHERS' DAY. If there are any teachers reading this, HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY. Ya, and it would be cool if you could tag. haha. As usual, prefects missed what was going on in the hall, got used to it already, collected my report book then went down home, changed and came back to school again. Met up with my P6 classmates and visited our only Pri School teacher still teaching in our pri school. After that, i and the rest of 'em went down to Mos for lunch spent a hell lot of money, ya and we saw bishan gay at KFC dat's why we went to MOS. After that, we went down to arcade, i splurged on an INITIAL D CARD. I am quite a noob at the game, but i am a lover of all racing games..what to do? The final thing on our itinerary was going back down to school to play bball, soccer and table tennis, before we all headed home.

Almeric

I've known him ever since i was sec 1. I just joined the prefectorial board then. I was new to this board and i hardly knew what to do. it was him and Eugene that taught me the ropes. Now i heard from him dat he would be gone for just helping a fren, dere is nothing but depression in my heart. But i would just like him to know that i think what he did was right, and i would always support him.

And another thing, falling in love is pure ecstasy...

IT project/Orienteering test

Yesterday Brandon, Christopher, Xue Ying, Zhi Wei, Donovan and I went to Ryan's house to do our IT project. While waiting for our dear fishball, zhi wei, we played a bit of basketball..(Ryan has the Basketball net at home!!!) When he finally came, we started. We filmed Ryan dying of an heart attack, filmed me taking chocolates...lol. Den dis very funny thing happened. I was teaching them how to drift with a bicycle.(can only be done during wet weather). So i rode very fast down the slope, drifted neatly into Ryan's house. So Donovan went up next, and my, it was a DISASTER!! He came down the slop, he hesitated and chickened out, deciding to just come to a full stop, unaware of physics of a mountain bike, he just sped down the slope, we heard the skidding, we thought he will drift, however, he just crashed right into Ryan's gate(Ryan's gate was open, he was supposed to turn left in, but did not), and our dear Donovan flew of the bike like a human cannonball. The bike wasn't badly damaged(luckily) only a few scrapes on the brake handle. But Donovan had abrasion on his hand, ouch.

Today, we had our orienteering test. Those who haven't take the test wun get the questions up here..haha, an a reminder to all, Friday dere will be our orienteering practical test, attendance is compulsory!!!

I'm Luving It

Today's training was FUN FUN FUN. It started out with a little bit of drills, some orienteering practical den it was...time to be pigs... o!nk.. First we ran to the 'mud pit' run and jump inside, sprint all the way to sgt gordon, do 20 pumping and 30 sit ups, leopard crawl to the twisties packet, then sprint all the way back, jump into the pit again, and finish. After we completed this 'circuit', we proceeded to doing jumps in the pit, i was totally stuck inside... Got the dirtiest shoes too!!! haha. Den we did this elephant roll, i really spun too much den was super giddy, den we spreaded love too haha HUGGY!!! Den after that we go even out the pit, so we got even dirtier. haha. Was dam fun today...

And there was the memorable bath... Bathed with wei kit..yes, same cubicle, ok had our undies on, so dun think sideways...haha, fun...

Den i come HOME. i luv home... if only all trainings are like dat, will be very fun.

SILENCE

Sorry for the silence for so long... I shall now post about the past 2 days. Yesterday, we had orienteering lessons! Firstly we fell in. Secondly we did drills. Thirdly we went to the classroom. Fourthly, our lesson commenced. We learnt about the history, map reading techniques, map setting, orienteering techniques, the rulez of the game etc...etc..in abt i think 2 hours. After that we had pt, which was pretty fun.. running, erms. MA BU!!! i luv ma bu...i ma bu dat time can see 3 strips of flesh in my thighs..lolz dam scary la. Den was like.got little scolding.. so trng was ok.

Today. For home economics we cook glutinous rice, den also got steam egg..haha. Den we steam all of 'em. Den when it was ready... Ryan was scared of the heat. While he was still getting the mittens, i brought everything out wif my bare hands alr. lol. dam funny. den during geog was also dam fun, i was almost ready to take geo for o lvl lor...lol We were making mindmaps..very colourful ones..very decorative too. So joshua, kwan ian, gary laryy, and ME were doign pollution... Josh and kI doing AIR. Curry was doing LAND. and me..WATER. ya so we wrote a lot of stuff, den drew a lot of pictures (they were really nice..i always knew i was artistic...shld have seen my wordart..)..i drew a shark..haha. Den we decorate the paper..i was startign to write things like LIVE EARTH and SOS ya stuff like dat, was really fun.

lastly for today, i ran 2.4 wif wen xuan.. first trng session of many to prepare ourselves for the cross country...7 rounds nxt thursday... Today me 2,4 de-prove.... by 21 secs..becom 10.57 RAHH...i think i know why...i did not sprint the whole first round..in fact i did not even sprint..my age is getting before me..hai...

Beloved ham hams...

My 2 baby ham hams...one is called gallardo and the other is called diablo.. Anyone with an IQ higher than 100 would know that they are named after lamborghinis and can infer that i am a huge fan of exotics. I am a fan of tuners too though...

NDP 2007... (school)

Today was the school-based celebration for NDP '07. To many other students, it might just be a normal day, however for the Uniformed groups and performers is a day of great excitement and...

Forced my self to wake up at 5.50 after recovering from a fever yesterday. Ate bread with ham and Milo...took medicine (tastes super awful..) then wear on my no.3 den go to school. Reached school at dunno what time cos i never wear a watch, fell in.

We had a warm up before the actual parade started, took a sip of water, calmed our nerves for the actual parade. The parade was regular and monotonous, was pretty long but no worries, did not fall asleep, we screwed up our march pass (dun wanna say what happened) and ya, that's abt all.

Went back to fall in area, found out some of us fell in late, we shld have fell in at 6.30...contradictory to what many of us thought...we thought we shld have fallen in at 6.45..oh wells. Everyone knows what happen if u r late right? so there is no need to elaborate..Free ice-cream was given out, couldn't have one cos of my fever...almost fainted at fall-in area lor...just recover from fever..lolz. Then come home do the Geo e-learning. oh ya and lastly, i really hate medicine!!!

Touching Story

I thought they never existed anymore, but a touching story just appeared in my higher Chinese textbook. So now i am going to summarise and translate the story.

I just set foot home when my wife still under confinement shouted to me that my mum has gone downstairs again. I put on a pair of slippers and dragged myself to the void deck.

My mum has been in the hospital for quite some time. She fell down and broke her leg and now she walk with the aid of a walking stick. My wife and i always tell her to stay at home, however she never heeds our advice. when i arrived at the void deck, i saw my mother sitting on a bench. A girl skipped towards her with a brown paper bag and she passed it to my mum, my mum gave her some money and the girl skipped away, before she left, she told my mum that she would not be able to buy it tml because she would have to go to school. My mum took out what as in the bag, buns. My mum has been craving for buns ever since she left the hospital, however i always forgot. Maybe, in simpler words, i was just plain lazy. My mum saw me, and she dropped the whole bag of buns. The black buns dropped on to the ground, the filling spilling out. i ran up to her and said," stay here mum, i will be right back with buns".

even if the shop was 40 miles away, i would still get it, in tears, i ran.
