2007 SLB investiture
What can i say, but it was a great success. I luved it. So i was playing host today. OK. that's my duty. Play host to Whitley Sec. Cool! A boy arrived in taxi, he told me there was another 3 more. Ok so i got Gary to move him to the hall while i waited for the other 3. Soon, a boy and 2 girls arrived in a cab. They are finally here. Ushered them to the hall, got them seated and the investiture soon started.
The investiture procedure was quite simple. First, we welcomed in the prefects, welcome the school, welcomed our guests. Then we had this movie about the SLB, is a slide show...and a few interviews after that. Then we witnessed the change of guard. Then we sec 2s and 1s did a catwalk. Recited the pledge, then we returned to our seats. Then, we had a dance performance, the singing of the school song and after that, we cheered 2 cheers. Then i went back to playing host to Whitley sec, brought them to the reception, where we mingled about, eating and joking. After that... i was urged by the 4 Whitley students to give them a school tour... n so..i agreed. Brought them around, om lab, orchestra room, lecture theatrette, canteen, armory, and lots more...the tour ended at the students lounge, where we hung out..for a very long time. Present in the student's lounge was SJI, Nayang, CHIJ, Zhong Hua and a few schools i dunno. Den the Whitley girls started flirting and stuff...lolz. ya then they played with me...literally...PLAYED. ok. then after that they decided to leave, went downstairs to the porch, so coincidentally a cab came in, the passenger alighted and they boarded it, and i closed the door of the cab for them..reminds me of those high-class hotels.
Then i went for the debrief, then went back to the student's lounge to entertain zhong hua, a school i dunno, and CHIJ..played around. met my fren from VS. Ya that's about all. talked a lot with the 2 girls from Zhong Hua, exchanged numbers. Soon they all left. i sent my VS fren and my 2 new found Zhong Hua frens. Got 2 separate cabs for them, literally done the high class hotel thingy again, before heading on my way home, blogging here...
